Method of extraction:
Tea tree is steam- or water-distilled from the leaves and twigs of the tree.
Properties:
general disinfectant with broad spectrum, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal, against parasites; stimulates immune system; tonic for circulation and nerves; anti-inflammatory; protects against radiation damage.
Indications:
infectious processes of all kinds; otitis, bronchitis, rhinopharyngitis, gum inflammation, tooth abscess, aphtha, pyorrhea (infection of the gums), stomatitis; infectious, viral, and parasitic enterocolitis; infection and congestive conditions of female organs; general and nervous asthenia; sensitivity to cold; cardiac insufficiency; burns due to radiation therapy (preventive); preparation for operative intervention with narcotics; Candida ailments, mycosis.
Main components:
terpineol-4, alpha-gamma-terpinene, d-alpha-pinene, p-cymene, cineole, cadinene, viridiflorene, viridiflorol.
Contraindications, side effects:
none known for normal dosage.

Usage and doses:
For Baths: 4-8 drops add to glass of yogurt or milk and pour in to bath.
Massage/ Scalp massage: add 3-5 drops of essential oil to 20g ml of basic oil.
Vaporizers: 1-2 drops for 5 m2 of room.
Compress: 4-5 drops of non-diluted essential oil instill on to dry soft fabric.
