Method of extraction:
The essential oil is steam-distilled from the needles.
Properties:
tonic, general physical, nerve stimulant and sexual stimulant; raises blood pressure; against infection, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory; against diabetes; effect similar to cortisone; pituitary gland-suprarenal connection (according to P. Franchomme-D. Peneol), reduces blood congestion in lymph glands and uro-genital system; against arthritis.
Indications:
exhaustion, asthenia, convalescence; bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, asthma; inflammatory processes; rheumatism, rheumatic polyarthritis; multiple sclerosis; uterine congestion, kidney inflammation.
Main components:
alpha-beta-pinene, limonene, bornyl acetate, Borneo Camphor.
Contraindications, side effects:
none known for normal dosage.
Usage and doses:
For Baths: 7-8 drops add to glass of yogurt or milk and pour in to bath.
Massage: add 5-6 drops of essential oil to 20g ml of basic oil.
Inhalations: 4-5 drops to 1l of hot water.
Vaporizers: 1-2 drops for 5 m2 of room.
