Bergamot essential oil

Method of extraction:
Bergamot oil is produced by rasping the peel and collecting everything that is expressed. This is then clarified and filtered to become expressed oil of bergamot.
Properties:
antiseptic, bactericide; regenerative for hypothalamus; supports scar formation; stimulates appetite, febrifuge, vermifuge; skin-browning.
Indications:
intestinal infections, colic, loss of appetite, intestinal parasites; insomnia, nervousness; malaria; wounds, skin disorders, psoriasis.
Main components:
1-linayl acetate, d-limonene, bergaptene, nerol, citrale.
Contraindications, side effects:
strong photosensitizing when applied externally.

Usage and doses:
For Baths: 5-7 drops add to glass of yogurt or milk and pour in to bath.
Massage: add 5-6 drops of essential oil to 20 ml of basic oil.
Inhalations: 2-3 drops for 1l of hot water.
Aromatherapy: 1-2 drops for 5 m2 of room.
